Welcome to Briar's Bears

Here you will find examples of my hand made, one off, heirloom quality 

teddy bears.

All are made with the highest quality fabrics, whether that is mohair,

alpaca, silk or top quality "tissavel" faux fur.

They are all fully jointed using traditional cotter pins and wooden discs 

and have steel shot added to their tummies for extra weight.

Each bear is individually created and totally hand made making each one

unique and very special.

Due to the construction of these bears and the glass eyes and metal joint

pins these bears are not suitable for children.

 I am happy to discuss any ideas you have for a special bear, it could be for

a birthday, Christening, wedding,Christmas present or just for someone in

need of a bears special hug, the choice is yours......

Or of course it could be for you to keep and love yourself.........
